Best pizza in New York, Mikey Moe from Las Vegas told me it's the best spot to go. That's where he grew up.

Really good Italian entrees i liked the pesto spaghetti and anti-pasta salad. Others in my party loved the veal parmesan and the Alfredo pasta. The pizza is good too. The waitress was great and service was fast. The ambience is classic West Village funky in a good way. A jazz pianist and bass player played the night we were there and they were enjoyable.

I base all of my favorite Italian restaurant on their tomato sauce. Arturo's has some of the best tomato sauce this side of the Atlantic ocean. A go to favorite when I order in :) From their pizza to any of their pasta dishes, i highly recommend for anyone coming in from out of town or locals to check them out. Also, on certain days of the week, they have live music, which is so much fun.

I've been a fan of Arturo's since living in the neighborhood 20 years ago. Recently, took my family of out of towners as a small group of 8. Menu was fixed, with exceptionally great food and wonderful service! So affordable too. No way we could've eaten anywhere else with that value!!

I had the green pepper and onion pizza for takeout. I enjoyed the crispy crust, peppery flavor of the tomato sauce, and the hearty layer of cheese on top. The small pizza is enormous, which justifies the cost of $26. The pizza was prepared pretty quickly as well, maybe in about 20 minutes. This is a great choice, especially if you have a couple of people to split the pizza with.

Loved this place. It's one of my wife's old hangs when she lived here in the 80's so it was a must stop. She says the place hasn't changed at all.... Including the restroom with the bath tub. It's an old converted house. The meat and cheese platter, the arugula salad, the penne bolognese and the special pizza were all wonderful. Lots of Chianti and a tipsy walk in the rain back to the hotel. Great stuff.

Cozy location and great vibes. We sat down and about 15 later a piano player arrived to give live music! The service was great as well and we got 2 pizza's with both being wonderful. Fun part was the restroom which this place must have been a residence at some point as there was a full bathtub/showed in the restroom. hahahahaha gave us a chuckle. Loved the chalk board to leave messages.

So thankful to see Arturo's still standing strong! I used to eat here often back when I was a teenager visiting my Aunt Nisy in NYC. Her apartment was only a few doors down! Even then the food was good and even now the food is good! The service was great. Ambiance was nice. I enjoyed the pictures around the restaurant and the live music entertainment. Good wine, good food, and great company!
